Supply Chain Management gives you the skills to help companies become more efficient, competitive and responsive to customers' needs through agile supply chains, procurement, manufacturing, distribution and logistics processes. Learn how to take raw goods and turn them into products that reach customers at the right time.

Supply Chain Management is available as a first major for the Bachelor of Business (BBus) and the Bachelor of Management Studies with Honours (BMS(Hons))[1]. Supply Chain Management may also be included as a second major or minor in other undergraduate degrees, subject to approval of the Division in which the student is enrolled.

To complete Supply Chain Management as a single major for the BBus, students must gain 135 points from papers listed for Supply Chain Management, including 105 points above 100 level, and 60 points above 200 level. Students must complete DIGIB101, MGSYS101, SCMGT200, SCMGT202, SCMGT203, SCMGT303, SCMGT304, SCMGT305, and one of WSOMM396 or WSOMM399.

To complete Supply Chain Management as part of a double major for the BBus or other undergraduate degree, students must gain 120 points from papers listed for Supply Chain Management, including 90 points above 100 level, and 45 points above 200 level. Students must complete DIGIB101, MGSYS101, SCMGT200, SCMGT202, SCMGT203, SCMGT303, SCMGT304 and SCMGT305.

To complete a minor in Supply Chain Management, students must complete 60 points from the papers listed for Supply Chain Management, including at least 30 points above 100 level. Students must complete MGSYS101.

[1] There will be no new enrolments into the BMS(Hons) in 2025. Students who commenced a BMS(Hons) in 2023 or prior should contact the Waikato Management School for programme advice.
