Management Systems Subject regulations
Management Systems includes the separate but related subject areas of Digital Business and Supply Chain Management. Papers in these areas are designed to give students a practical understanding of how to make good business decisions in regards to managing an organisation's valuable resources and ensure fluid supply chains. You'll learn how to use the latest web-based technologies to deliver rich data necessary for decision-making, and create operational efficiencies critical for business success.
There will be no new enrolments into the PGCert, PGDip and MMS in Management Systems in 2020 onwards. Prospective students are directed towards the Digital Business, Project Management and Supply Chain Management subjects and qualifications.

PGCert(MgtSys), PGDip(MgtSys) and MMS The qualification regulations define the subject requirements for the PGCert(MgtSys), PGDip(MgtSys) and MMS. There are no specified subject papers for the PGCert(MgtSys) and the PGDip(MgtSys) programmes.
MMS students must complete MNGMT581 and one of MGSYS590, MGSYS591, MGSYS592, MGSYS593 or MGSYS594. Students taking the 120 point MMS are required to complete at least 60 points from the papers listed for the subject. Students taking the 180 point MMS are required to complete at least 120 points from the papers listed for the subject.
Note: there will be no intakes into these qualifications in 2022.

MPhil The Master of Philosophy is a one year research-based degree in which students undertake a programme of approved and supervised research that leads to a thesis which critically investigates an approved topic of substance and significance, demonstrates expertise in the methods of research and scholarship, displays intellectual independence and makes a substantial original contribution to the subject area concerned, and is of publishable quality.

PhD The Doctor of Philosophy is a three year research-based degree in which students undertake a programme of approved and supervised research that leads to a thesis which critically investigates an approved topic of substance and significance, demonstrates expertise in the methods of research and scholarship, displays intellectual independence and makes a substantial original contribution to the subject area concerned, and is of publishable quality.
