Kahurangi operates the kitchens in all Halls of Residence as well as several commercial outlets on campus including Kahurangi Café (Village Green), Coffee Kiosk (The Pā) and The Canopy (University staff club at The Pā).

This phrase was gifted to Kahurangi by the Kaumatua of the University when Kahurangi was first established.
