Join us for an exciting and informative session with our academic staff and discover everything you need to know about studying at the University of Waikato.
The University of Waikato will be holding admissions events in India and Sri Lanka in September 2024.
Academic staff from across the University will be visiting India and Sri Lanka to meet with prospective students at a series of admissions events. We invite you to meet 1-1 with a Waikato staff member to discuss your application and find out more about study opportunities in New Zealand.
- Bring copies of your academic documents for assessment and an on-the-spot offer of place.
- You’ll also be able to find out about our exciting range of scholarships and bursaries.
- Light refreshments will be provided.

No! The events are free. However, spaces are limited, so please register today.
No, only prospective students interested in studying with us need to complete the registration form. You are welcome to bring family members and friends though.
Absolutely! You will have the chance to meet with faculty staff and discuss your offer. You can also find out about scholarships and bursaries available to you and ask any questions you may have.
We need to see your transcript and certificates in order to make an on-the-spot offer. If you don't have these, you can apply at a later date. You are still welcome to meet with faculty staff to find out more about studying with us though.
