The subject encompasses a broad range of topics that reflect the far-reaching nature of the field. Educators are interested in how knowledge, skills and values are constructed, accumulated, and conveyed through formal and informal means.
The qualifications listed below are not Initial Teacher Education programmes. See the Teaching subject.
Education is available as a minor.
To complete a minor in Education, students must complete 60 points from the papers listed under the subject Education or Maori Education, including at least one of EDSOC101, EDUCA110 or HMDEV100, and at least 30 points above 100 level.
