Hi all, my name is Bronwen (Bron for short) and I am your Pasifika Law Mentor for 2023 and I am currently in my third year of a Bachelor of Laws with Honours. I understand the difficulties and pressures that can come with academic studies so if you're needing any help, a shoulder to cry on (don't worry, i've been there too) or just want a chat, don't hesitate to get in touch. I look forward to meeting new and old faces throughout the year.
Bronwen will be available in person on Wednesdays from 2-3pm, and available over Zoom on Thursdays between 2-3pm.
You can email the Pacific Mentor via tepiring@waikato.ac.nz
The Maori Mentors are trained and experienced University students who offer academic support and pastoral care to Maori law students. Each Mentor has been assigned to a specific year group, but can also answer queries in relation to papers from Year 1-4. The Mentors are very friendly and will provide you with the best advice they can.
If you wish to see a Mentor, either visit their office hours in N.3.07 (Law Faculty), or email them
